Semi-dry-sump engine design

The overhead-valve, semi-dry-sump design creates a compact and lightweight engine that improves handling by lowering the center of gravity and increasing ground clearance.

Fuel injection

Liquid cooling

Torque-biasing/locking front differential

With the Foreman’s front differential, you can choose between two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive with a locking front differential.

Swingarm suspension

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

Available on the EPS model, our Electric Power Steering (EPS) is both speed- and torque-sensitive, reducing steering effort and kickback through the handlebar. This is a big help when riding through rugged terrain like ruts, rocks, and other challenging environments.

Longitudinal engine layout

By orienting the crankshaft front-to-back in the chassis, we route the flow of power straight to the wheels without any unnecessary right-angle detours, reducing powertrain friction and putting more grunt to the ground.

Electronic differential lock

When driving in 4WD, simply flip the switch, and the electronic differential lock directs power to both front wheels, optimizing available traction. The vehicle display will indicate when the differential lock is fully engaged.

Wide front driveshaft guards

The driveshaft guards provide additional coverage for the front axles and outboard CV joints, illustrating another example of how Honda engineers focus on even the smallest details to create one of the best ATVs on the planet.
