Programmed fuel injection

With a 34mm throttle body, 12-hole injector, and an oxygen sensor, the Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) promptly adjusts fuel mapping to ensure smooth operation, lower emissions, and enhanced fuel efficiency.

Semi-dry-sump engine design

The overhead-valve, semi-dry-sump design creates a compact and lightweight engine that improves handling by lowering the center of gravity and increasing ground clearance.

Torque-biasing front differential

Available on the 4x4 trims, you can choose between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. A torque-biasing front differential helps enhance traction, especially in challenging conditions such as mud and snow.

Disc front brakes

The Rancher, Rancher 4x4, and Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT EPS trims are equipped with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, providing reliable stopping power in all conditions.

We've equipped the Rancher 4x4 Automatic DCT IRS EPS with Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) and disc brakes on both the front and rear, further enhancing stopping performance.

Independent Rear Suspension (IRS)

The IRS model features over 8 inches of suspension travel and 9 inches of ground clearance, which enhances tire contact for improved traction and provides a smoother ride over rough terrain.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

Available on both EPS models, our Electric Power Steering (EPS) is both speed- and torque-sensitive, reducing steering effort and kickback through the handlebar. This is a big help when riding through rugged terrain like ruts, rocks, and other challenging environments.

Swingarm rear suspension

Select models feature a rear swingarm-style suspension with a solid axle, providing superior capabilities for towing and hauling. Its long suspension stroke and plush seat allow you to tackle your favorite trail or the toughest chores in comfort all day long.

Shaft drive

The shaft drive is clean, low-maintenance, and efficient, making it the perfect choice for high-mileage riders. It eliminates the need for lubrication or adjustment while on the trail.

Automatic DCT

Our Dual-Clutch Transmission, available on the Automatic DCT trims, offers robust internals, rapid shifts, and excellent control. The system automatically upshifts and downshifts for you, allowing you to focus on the ride.

Easy to use reverse

Available on the Automatic DCT models, this user-friendly single lever is exceptionally handy for seamless forward-to-reverse transitions—perfect for tasks like snow plowing that require repetitive actions.

In-tank fuel pump
