Power comes from a Kawasaki 695cc liquid-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder 4-stroke that brings the muscle where it matters: 44 hp at 6000 rpm and 42.7 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm. It’s fuel-injected (44 mm) and sips regular gas, with an electric start and a 9.5-gallon tank to keep the momentum going. A CVT transmission with hi/low range and reverse keeps operation simple, while a speed governor is on board for controlled running.
When the trail turns tight, the Mule stays composed with a compact footprint—about 110 inches long, 60 inches wide, and a nimble 14-foot turning radius—plus 10.6 inches of ground clearance to help you clear the rough stuff. Selectable 4x2/4x4 lets you match traction to terrain, backed by a front limited-slip differential, rear unlocking differential, and a rear differential lock when conditions get stubborn. Steering is handled with power steering through a steering wheel, making long days and tricky lines easier on your arms.
Up front and out back, independent double wishbone suspension delivers 8.6 inches of front travel and 9.1 inches in the rear, rolling on 25-inch Duro tires mounted to steel wheels. Dual hydraulic disc brakes front and rear help bring everything back under control when the load (or the fun) picks up.
And yes—this Mule works. There’s a steel tilt cargo bed with integral tie-down hooks and up to 699 lbs of bed capacity, plus 1200 lbs payload and 1500 lbs towing via a receiver hitch.
